This film is very important and deserves our collective support!!!!

Greetings Supporters....

I wanted to get this brief news to YOU before you "read" about in Prison Legal News (if you are a subscriber)....

PLN has graciously donated Field Up Productions a 2 month ad for our fundraising calendar for the film, A Power Sun. We have sent out many notices of this fundraiser through our Facebook networking systems.

Our goal is simple. With the purchase of the calendar, enough funds can be raised collectively to help facilitate many expenses of the film and its processes. Thus far, we have over 150 people who joined the cause via our Facebook networks. NOW, If everyone of those supporters had purchased a calendar, many of the upcoming expenses would be covered, plus enough funds would be on-hand to re-order a shipment of calendars.

i humbly ask YOU to support our efforts during this fundraising mission and campaign. I am not only asking you to donate $30 to purchase a calendar, but I am asking you to make a pledge of forwarding this ad to your friends, supporters and family members.

The calendar has 12 of Sundiata's beautiful paintings.
It's a THREE YEAR CALENDAR!!!
It's a keepsake and treasure for all who purchase,
PLUS it's a collective effort in building necessary resources for a film that everyone will enjoy.

The Calendar is $30 w/complimentary shipping & handling and may be purchased at www.fieldup.com.

Please send cashier's checks/m.o.'s to:

During my studentship in movement, I have come to learn fascinating things... one of which was how folk lived and survived collectively. During movement days, there would be a collective effort in raising resources for legal fees, for bail, for breakfast/food, for rent/shelter, to name a few... people would sacrifice/"peel-off" resources and all would be put in a pot... Whala! Those resources would be there!

Wouldn't it be a Hoot to Hollywood if we could say that our film was made NOT by government foundations dollars (which they're not giving anyway), but by the will of the people that collectively put together their resources in the sale of a calendar? This could be a start of the neo-resource building task...
