Black Unity

All Things Afrikan

Unity is spelled P-L-E-B-I-S-C-I-T-E

Every African American organization from the Nation of Islam to the NAACP has talked about UNITY and why it was important for African Americans to have UNITY. There have been songs, marches, rallies, and meetings held to achieve Black unity, but we have not been unified. Sure there have been certain short term issues that we have unified on, but we have never unified on a systematic structural SOLUTION. Why? Because as soon as someone talks about unity, out come the PHILOSOPHERS, and they can range the gamut, Nationalist, Pan-Africanist, Muslim, Christian, Hebrews, Moors, and Civil Rights philosophers, who foster DISUNITY, because there is not a non-denominational, non- sectarian, plan for unity, so the philosophers begin to squabble and disagree, and the songs, marches, rallies, and meetings have failed to unite because the philosophers do not know how to spell unity.

UNITY is spelled P-L-E-B-I-S-C-I-T-E. A status plebiscite defeats the philosophers because there is only one issue in a status plebiscite. i.e, Do you want to change your status from a disenfranchised American minority to a special “indigenous” minority?
Special minorities like the Indians, Hawaiians, Puerto Ricans, Palau, Guam, American Samoa, Atolls, have land set asides, control over their children’s education, control over their economy, which comes with the change of status.

The Webster Dictionary says that a “Plebiscite” is an expression of the people’s will by direct ballot on a political issue, as in choosing between independent nationhood, or affiliation with another nation. In other words ‘special minorities’ have a RIGHT to conduct a national vote.

Building a national vote means that you have to build a consensus of African American voters. This means going door to door in your own neighborhoods and being able to distinguish the benefits of independent assessment of lands, quality education, increased business opportunity and why ‘special minority status’, is more favorable to the plain minority status that we share with gays, people with disabilities, women, Asians, and other foreigners.

In the end African Americans would have defined areas of commerce, education, and housing, and ‘elected leaders’ for the first time in their history. Those who support the plebiscite will become through elections the elected leaders of a TRILLION dollar economy. They must carve out a territory or a precinct in a state or city, and place a ballot box in the territory or precinct so that the people can vote. We ask all African Americans who can THINK to join with us in our educational and training sessions so that we can declare an “AFRICAN AMERICAN STATUS PLEBISCITE” by 2010. Presently, we have representatives from 6 states, 5 organizations, 1 Moorish tribe, and 3 websites www.definingchange.us, and www.aaplebiscite.com , and are launching a radio station www.africanativeradio.com.
